In deciding whether to publish a submission, we consider its degree of thoughtfulness, creativity, interest, veracity, capacity to spark conversation, and quality of argument. The YARID believes the pieces it publishes have something important, interesting, or meaningful to contribute to Jewish thought and conversation; it does not endorse the arguments presented in the pieces it publishes.
